STEVE WAMBOLD
CEO
Steve has held several top-seat positions in the propane and logistics industries. Steve previously was CEO of a Fortune 1000 propane company for eight years (nearly 20 years in total with this company), with full P&L responsibility for the organization which, at the time, represented $2B market cap value. During his leadership tenure as CEO, he oversaw 900+ retail locations, 45K+ 20# tank exchange selling sites, and executed over 50 acquisitions. Steve started in the field and learned about propane from the grass roots level. He holds a BA degree from Purdue University.
RANDY SCHOTT
COO
Randy is a well-known and respected leader, team builder, and operator in the propane industry. Starting in 1990, Randy joined the country's second largest propane company as a District Manager in the Pacific Northwest. Over the next 22 years he rose through the ranks- ultimately to the position of Senior Vice President of Retail Operations where he was responsible for operations and sales for all of North America. He holds both an AS from Menlo College and a BS from the University of Oregon.
BILL RUISINGER
CFO
Bill has over 10 years in the propane industry, he has held the roles of Director of Accounting, Controller, Vice President of Treasury and Investor Relations before being appointed as CFO of one of the major propane retailers in 2018. Prior to joining the propane industry, Bill served various roles within the assurance practice of Deloitte, LLP from 1997 to 2012 specializing in Oil and Gas and Regulated Utilities. Bill holds BS in Accounting as well as a MA in Information Systems degree from the University of Kansas. He has been a CPA since 2003.
JIM SALADIN
CMO
Jim brings significant experience in the propane marketing space, having served as Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Customer Experience at one of the nation's top propane retailers. Additionally, he established and led the internal marketing efforts at digital marketing agency DEG, served as a marketing and communications consultant, and was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at Sosland Companies, a media provider serving a worldwide market. Jim holds BA in English Literature from University of Kansas, and serves on several charitable and educational Boards.
ERIC BRUUN
CHAIRPERSON OF THE BOARD
Eric has been with CID since 2000 and has served on the boards of a number of CID’s current and past consumer and industrial companies. Eric is a Co-Owner and Partner at CID. He focuses on sourcing executives, platform investments and add-on acquisitions. He currently sits on the board of Strahman Valves, Prosource, Extra Mile Brands and Park Supply. Prior to joining CID, Eric worked on the acquisition integration team at the Conseco Companies and kicked around the country as an NFL punter with the NY Giants. Eric received an MBA and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University.
KEN ATCHLEY

Ken began his career in the propane industry with Ferrellgas in 1985 where he filled various roles including COO. He went on to become the CEO of Propane Advantage (Acquired by Ferrellgas in 2015), the CEO of Legacy Propane Holdings, LLC and a founder / board member of Puget Propane, LLC (Acquired by Ferrellgas in 2007). In addition, he is the founder and board member of Pacific Coast Energy, acquired by DCC 2019. Ken is also a board member, founder and partner of Geyer-Yunkherr, a private division of Black Rock Coffee label who operates retail coffee cafes on the west coast. Geyer-Yunkherr has enjoyed a 50% CAGR and continues rapidly building out its retail platform. Ken graduated from the University of Oregon in 1984 with a BS in Finance and Management.
ERIC DERHEIMER

Eric has been with CID since 2014 and also sits on the boards of Giftcraft, Strahman Valves and Park Supply. Prior to working at CID, he was a Vice President in Greenhill & Co.’s Industrial Mergers and Acquisitions group in Chicago, where he worked with large industrial corporations to grow their businesses through acquisition. He previously worked in private equity; investing for The Carlyle Group as an Associate, and in UBS’s Mergers and Acquisitions group as an Analyst. Eric received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where he was a Kelley Scholar.
BRIAN KERR
BOARD MEMBER
Brian Kerr is a Managing Director of ORIX Private Equity Solutions. Mr. Kerr has spent 19 years working with lower middle market corporations and entrepreneurs on financial and strategic projects, including balance sheet recapitalizations, debt and equity alternatives, leveraged buyouts, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Kerr started his career as an investment banker advising private and public companies on M&A, private placement and equity and equity-linked transactions. Mr. Kerr received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Lehigh University and MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
